Labor Day Weekend is over, the white pants are back in the closet and it's starting to smell like cross country. (That means wash your uniforms, kids).
A few local teams polished their spikes yesterday at the John Curtis Season Opener, but the majority of cross country programs have yet to race. The first edition of the NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune Girls Cross Country Rankings is a pre-season prediction of New Orleans-area talent. We'll see how we stack up this weekend, as most teams head to area courses this Saturday, September 6. Expect more analysis as we get farther into the season and can compare performances week-to-week.
