Baton Rouge, LA- The Nicholls women's indoor track and field team returned to action Saturday with Stacy Jones leading the way after finishing 11th in the mile run with a time of 6:22.39.
Other finishers for Nicholls included Wongani Phiri (3,000-meter run, 11:57.89, 15th), Nicole Triche (1-mile, 6:43.86, 14th), Sarah Neunzig (1-mile, 6:46.14, 15th), Jodi Dufrene (1-mile, 6:49.43, 16th), Brittany Bernard (1-mile, 7:03.61, 17th), Latasha Bishop (40-meter dash, 1:04.34, 16th), Sarah West (40-meter dash, 1:19.97, 17th), Dominique Harris (200-meter dash, 29.14, 33rd), Heather Gamble (200-meter dash, 32.08, 34th), Desiree George (200-meter dash, 34.71, 35th) and Jamie Johnson (shot put, 36-0.5 ).
The Lady Colonels will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 21, when they travel to Houston to participate in the Leonard Hilton Memorial meet.
