VOTE: MileSplit LA Boys' Relay Team of the Year!

MileSplit (Before Pick)

Here are the teams who made the ballot for MileSplit LA Boys' Relay Team of the Year. The poll will close at 9pm on Saturday. Congratulations to all of the teams for making the ballot. As always, thank you in advance for participating in our polls.

ST. LOUIS HIGH 4x800 - The Saints were the MileSplit LA Relay Team of the Month in January. The team finished the year with a third place at the District 3-3A Meet with a time of 9:26.42.

HOLY CROSS 4X200 - HC was the MileSplit LA Relay Team of the Month in February. The team finished second to Edna Karr in the LHSAA Class 5A State Outdoor Meet with a time of 1:25.99. This squad also made both the Louisiana Track and Field Coaches Association and the Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-State Teams.

DESTREHAN 4X100 - The Wildcats were the MileSplit Relay Team of the Month in March. This team was running fast early with a 41.60 at the PHS Relays on March 10th. Unfortunately, they suffered some injuries to key members of the team and did not qualify for state. Still, their time ranks No. 6 in all of Louisiana.

NORTHSIDE 4X400 - Northside was the MileSplit LA Relay Team of the Month in April. This team ran a 3:25.52 at the LHSAA Class 4A State Outdoor Meet to finish second. It took an insane anchor leg by Tioga who got by Northside just before crossing the line. Their 3:20.74 run at the Viking Relays on March 31st is the best time of any of 4A team this year.

WOSSMAN 4X100 - The Wildcats were the MileSplit LA Relay Team of the Month in May. The Wildcats saved their best for last by running a 41.57 at the LHSAA Class 3A State Meet. The time was good enough to take home the state championship and helped their team win the overall state title. No team in Class 3A ran the 4x100 faster during the 2023 season.
