In celebration of surpassing the number of last year's entries a full month out, we have decided to extend this year's registration deadlines. Entry fees for the Half-Marathon will remain at $60 until Tuesday, October 5. Beginning Wednesday, October 6, the price for late registration will increase to $75. Late registration will remain open until Sunday, October 17. Register online at active.com.

Kermit Ruffins to Headline Jazz Half Marathon Post-Party
Kermit Ruffins and the BBQ Swingers will be at the finish line of the second annual Jazz Half Marathon presented by Grainger and Merrill Lynch Relay Challenge to meet the more than 3,500 runners expected to pound the streets of New Orleans on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010.

"Run for the Children" Relay Challenge
The Jazz Half Marathon is pleased to announce the Merrill Lynch "Run for the Children" Relay Challenge. The relay will include four-person teams covering the length of the Half Marathon course.
Each team is composed of four members with each member running 3-4 miles. Teams may be entered in one of the following divisions and categories:
Corporate Division - All team members are employees of the same company
Open Division - No restrictions
