Online Registration Instructions
Dear Cross Country Coach, St. Thomas Aquinas High School would like to
invite you to the LHSAA District 10-2A/District 7-4A/8-3A Cross Country Championships on Thursday,
October 29, 2026. This year's
meet will once again be held at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond.
There will be team champion and runner-up awards
in the Varsity boys and girls divisions. The top (15) finishers in the varsity division
will receive individual awards. The entry fee for the District meet is 75.00, please make check out to St.
Thomas Aquinas HS for 10-2A, while the 7-4A check needs to made out to Franklinton and the 8-3A check can be made out to Jewel
Sumner.
There will be no limit on the amount of runners
entered in each race, the top (5) will be scored. This year we will be using
the Hy-tek computerized scoring system, so, each team must submit a list of all
possible competitors by Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Registration
will be done on
la.milesplit.com. If you have any JV runners, enter them in the JV
Division and we will run them all together and separate them in the results.

4:40 pm Varsity Boys 3 Mile Race
5:20 pm Awards Presentation
Varsity teams, please plan your arrival
between 2:15-2:30, school dismisses at 3:00 pm and the traffic will make it
difficult for you to enter the school with buses after 2:30 pm. All buses must
park in the back by the football field. Bathrooms are also located here as
well. Please do not allow your athletes to enter our school for restroom
purposes!
