Dear Cross Country Coach,
Trafton Academy, St. Thomas Aquinas HS and Perfectly Fit would like to invite you to their 25th Annual Perfectly Fit-Tangi Cross Country Championships Meet on Thursday, September 17, 2026 and Friday, September 18, 2026. This year's meet will once again be held at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond.
In all races the top (15) will receive awards. Individual awards will be given to the athletes at the end of the chute for the Sub-Elementary, Elementary, Middle School and Junior High races. Team awards to the Champion in SE, Elem, MS and JH girls and boys divisions. The team entry fee will be $75.00 per school, to help defray the cost of the awards, police and a donation to STA. Checks can be made out to Trafton Academy Athletics.
There will be no limit on the amount of runners entered in each race, the top (5) will be scored. This year we will be using the Hy-tek computerized scoring system, so, each team must submit a list of all possible competitors by Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 9:00 am. All school entries must be done on la.meilsplit.com. Please go on line and create an account ASAP so I can invite you to the meet and get you started on entering your athletes. No race day registration will be allowed!!!!! Entries will not be accepted by fax, phone or stamped mail!!!!! Entries will not be accepted by fax, phone or stamped mail!!!!!
There will be assigned boxes at this meet, teams cannot line up at the starting line until five minutes prior to their race. There will be a check-in area where we will stage the races prior to their start, especially for the last race of the day.

We will be set-up in the front area at STA for this meet, we have been asked by our administration that you please use the restrooms in the back only. Please keep your Parents and Athletes out of the school, the school is off limits when we have Cross Country meets. Also, we will not allow cars to park on the grass on Voss Drive, this will be roped off, be prepared to park in the back and walk to the starting line areas. There will be a $ 5.00 per car fee for spectators, please make sure your parents area aware of this so they dont harass our athletes!!!

Please make sure your parents do not park near the big bright green and yellow cones so they are not blocking the course!
