Meet Information
We would like to invite you to the Franklin Parish Jr HighInvitational Meet to be held on Tuesday,March 31, at FPHS.
For your entries, you will enteryour athletes on https://la.milesplit.com
You must have your entries in by 10:00 onMonday , March 30th.If you have any questions regarding the entry process, please let me know.
Entry Fee-$60.00 per boys' team and $60.00 per girls' team($120 per school). Entry for spectators will be $5. You may pay team entries atpacket pick-up. The coach's scratch meeting will be at 3:15 in the hospitality room in the concession stand. Fieldevents will begin at 4:00, with the 1600m at 4:30
Packets may be picked up at the Scratch meeting.Packets will provide Heat/Lane assignments.
Three athletes are allowed to enter for each event (one must been unattached) and one relay team for each school.
Athletes are to report to the check-in area one event before their event.
Field Events will check in at the event site.
Further Instructions:
The visiting bleachers will be used for all visiting team
Please keep your athletes in the stands and off the field, once running events begin.
*Spikes: Must be no longer then 1/4 inch.
*Javelin will be contested in middle of football field.
*Shot and Discus will be conducted on the practice field behind the football fieldhouse.
These athletes can access the north gate of the track to cross for these events. NO ONE else will be allowed to use this gate. Once field events are over, this gate will be locked.
*Please bring your own blocks.
*Buses will park behind the visitor bleachers of the football field in the grass parking lot. Teams will enter through the gate on that side.
Awards:Medals to top 3 in individual events.
Team trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place overall.
