Meet Information

Dear Coach,

We would like to invite you to the 2026  Drey Wise Invitational on Wednesday,  April 1, 2026.   Field events will begin at 3:30 pm and will consist of 3 throws/jumps. The 3200 girls/boys meter run will begin at 4:00 pm and all other running events will begin at 5:00 pm. The meet will be limited to 2 athletes/1 relay per event and will have a 4 event limit for athletes. Meet entries will be on Milesplit.

There will be no 4 x 800 m relay

Hospitality Room: This will be located in the Track shed. This will be for coaches, administration, and adult volunteers only. No students allowed. 

Parking: Busses and all other vehicles can park in the gym parking lot.

Team Area: Team areas will be along the fences around the track and in the grass area in front of the track shed. No teams will be allowed in the stands. In order to run a smooth track meet, we ask all coaches to keep their athletes in those assigned areas until their event is called. There will be a concession stand available.

Awards: medals will be given to the top three finishers in each event. First place and runner up trophies to each boy and girl team

Meet Fee: To offset the cost of awards and other expenses, there will be a $25 charge for both the boys and girls teams or $50 per school. If mailing your entry fee in advance, please make all checks payable to Jennings High School and include a memo that contains your school name and purpose of the check. I will have receipts for you located at the starting line of the track when you arrive. 

Scratch Meeting: The scratch meeting will be from 2:00-2:45 in the track shed located at the northwest corner of the track..  Coaches will enter their athletes at this time.

Entries: This year  we will be using athletic.net to submit entries to our meet. An email will be sent to you with information on how to register your athletes.  You will have until April 2nd at 3:00pm to complete and/or make changes to your entries before the meet will be locked in order to have heat sheets completed upon your arrival. 

Track Markings:  Markings are as follows:  Boys 110m Hurdles- Blue, Girls 100m Hurdles- Gold,300m hurdles- green, 400 meter  Relay- Gold, 800 meter Relay- Black, Black, Gold, 1600 meter relay- Blue.  

We prefer that athletes use half tennis balls for track markings.  However, if they use athletic tape, they are asked to remove the tape and dispose of it once they are done competing.

Spikes: 1/4 spikes only on the track surface. Schools are asked to furnish their own blocks.
