District 7-4A & 9-2A District Championship

MEET LOGISTICS

• Dual Meet: This district championship meet will be conducted simultaneously with Districts 7-4A & 9-2A. Most events will be held with separate flights/heats for each district.

• Track Surface: 8-Lane Polyurethane Rubber; 1/4" spikes ONLY. The javelin approach is a track runway.

• Entry Fee: $75 per team ($150 total for girls & boys teams). Please make checks payable to: Lakeshore High School

• Gate Policy: STPSS facilities are cashless. Please purchase admissions on GoFan.

• Parking: Available in the parking lots around campus, please be aware school dismissal is at 2:35. Bus parking is located along the East & West side of the athletic facilities. There is a loop around the stadium. Only the home entrance will be open.

ENTRIES & REGISTRATION

• Platform: Entries must be submitted via MileSplit.com.

• Deadline: All entries are due by April 19, 2026 at 4:00 PM.

• Limits: Two (2) entries per individual event and one (1) relay team per school.

• Athlete Participation: Athletes are limited to competing in a maximum of four (4) events total.

COMPETITION RULES & SCORING

• Field Events: Each competitor will receive three (3) primarily trials in horizontal jumps and throwing events. The top 7 competitors will receive three (3) additional trials in finals.

• Javelin: The javelin approach is a track runway.

• Equipment: Starting blocks will NOT be provided; please bring your own.

• Markings:NO TAPE is allowed on the track or runways. Only chalk should be used for marks in relays or jumps.

• Scoring: Standard scoring for individual and relay events based on the number of teams.

• Awards: Medals for 1st-3rd place finishers.Team Trophies for 1st and 2nd Place teams (Boys and Girls).

FACILITY & PROCEDURES

• Team Areas: Please set up team camps in the stands on either side of the stadium. Do not set up camps on the infield.

• Restricted Areas: Electronics and noncompetitors are prohibited in restricted areas. Restricted areas include the gated area surrounding the track and infield as well as the grass areas where throwing events are held.

• Warm-up Area: The infield will only be open for competitors warming up for their event. Athletes loitering will be directed to sit in the stands. The North End of the infield near the finish line will be blocked off and should only be entered by competitors checking in for their event.

• Dressing Area: No dressing rooms are available. Please have your athletes come dressed to compete.

• Check-In:Running Events: Athletes must check in by the 3rd call (5 minutes prior to the event).

• Field Events: Athletes should check in 30 minutes prior to the start of their event at the event site.

• Event Help: Each participating school will be assigned to assist with a field event or exchange zones.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Field Events: Long Jump 2:00 PM and all other field events at start at 3:00 PM

Each field event will follow the schedule order below:

Running Events: 5:00 PM

Events will follow a rolling schedule. Each event will be run starting with the 9-2A Girls, followed by the 7-4A Girls, 9-2A Boys, and the 7-4A Boys.
