Region 1-B Track Meet 2026

(in the event of inclement weather we will reschedule for Wed., Apr. 29)
Host: Quitman High School
Coaches will be assigned areas to monitor/score during meet.
Coaches Meeting at 12:00 P.M.
Entry fees: $200 per school
Top 3 medals will be awarded in all events. Also top 3 in each event will advance to the LHSAA State Meet.
Team Champions and Runners-Up will receive a trophy.
Field Events will start at 12:30 P.M. Running Events will start at 3:00 P.M. All running events will follow the standard order of events as advised by NFHS. Implements will be weighed prior to/immediately after the coaches meeting.
Staging area for all runners located inside track area by girls long jump runway. Spectators will not be allowed in the infield area during field events. Please keep team areas clean and pick up all trash. Thank you!
Field events-12:30 p.m. (3 attempts, reseed, then final 3 attempts)
Boys High Jump, followed by girls
Girls javelin, followed by boys
Girls pole vault, followed by boys
Girls long jump (pit located inside track)
Boys long jump (new pit located end of track)
Triple jump follows long jump at each pit
Girls shot put, followed by boys
Boys discus, followed by girls discus
