ORDER OF EVENTS
Implement weigh-in
Alright everyone for Thursday here is what we will do.
1pm Field events
PV 4A (girls then boys) on the NORTH PIT 5A SOUTH PIT
Long Jump- 4a GIRLS on the EAST PIT by the infield, 5A GIRLS on the WEST PIT- FOLLOWED by 4A BOYS, And 5A BOYS on the same pits
Triple Jump- will start after long jumps have concluded using the same pits. 4A girls, 5A girls, Followed by 4A Boys and 5A Boys
HJ- 4A BOYS on the EAST pit by the timing tent, 5A BOYS WEST PIT, Followed by Girls using the same pits.
Discus- 4A Girls, 5A Girls, 4A Boys, 5A Boys
Shot Put:
Ring 1 closest to the track stands in the North Endzone, 4A BOYS Followed by 4A Girls
Ring 2 closest to the football stadium in the north endzone, 5A girls, Followed by 5A Boys
Javelin- 5A boys, 4A boys, 5A girls, 4A girls.
Running events will go 4A girls, 5A girls, 4A boys, 5A boys.
4x800 will start at 3:00
*3:00 Event* (Running will start at the conclusion of field events: HJ/TJ) *Must have at least 10 minutes between running events via Handbook 23.3.9

MEET ADMISSION: Admission is $12. The general public enters at the gates by the finish line of the track. SCHOOL ENTRY FEE: $150 - Boys $75/Girls$75 PAYABLE TO: West Ouachita High School Track and Field* Pay by check at the track meet @ NSU or send to West Ouachita High School 4061 Caples Rd, West Monroe, LA 71292
PARKING: Buses are to park in the parking lots across the street from the track, by prather coliseum. STARTING
TIMES: IMPLEMENT WEIGH IN: 11:00 - 12:30
POLE VAULT INSPECTION: 11:00 - 12:30
FIELD EVENT START: 1:00pm
TRACK SPIKES-NSU requiresQuarter inch ( INCH PIRAMID) spikes MUST be worn on Track to preserve the surface. They will not approve any spikes that do not follow these specs.
Coaches, please check your athletes' shoes before each meet.
ALL RULES WILL BE ENFORCED USING THE FEDERATION HANDBOOK AND THOSE IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE LHSAA. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH COACH TO MAKE THEIR TEAMS AWARE OF ALL RULES.

BOYS DISCUS: Tioga
GIRLS DISCUS: WOHS
BOYS JAVELIN: Minden/WOHS
GIRLS JAVELIN: Grant/Southwood
BOYS POLE VAULT: Iowa

POLE VAULT/HIGH JUMP PROGRESSIONS: Decided by district results
HEATING AND SEEDING: From District results
SLOWER HEAT 1ST, FAST HEAT 2ND
IN 800m, seed 12 & 10 in lanes 1 & 2, seed 9 & 11 in lanes 7 & 8 behind.
1600m & 3200 will run waterfall start
Once running events begin, the meet will be on a rolling time schedule, adhering to the time schedule set by federation rulebook.
Girls will compete 1st in all running events
