Mac's Fresh Market Chief Relays (invitational) 2026

DUE TO CONSTRUCTION ON CAMPUS WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS AN INVITATIONAL MEET. We apologize for any inconvenience but due to the amount of construction on our stadium and track areas, hosting a large meet is just not an option this year. Hopefully we are back in full operation next season. 

Entry Fee-$75.00 per boys team and $75.00 per girls team. May pay at packet pick-up. Make a check payable to West Ouachita High School Track and Field. 

Two entries are allowed for each event.  One relay team for each school.

Buses need to park at the top parking lot by the Fire station. (picture is attached)

Packet Pick-up-- 1:30-2:30 pm at the timing tent.

NO TAPE is going to be allowed on the new track for relays or jumps! Chalk will be available at all jump pits and high hump. Tennis balls will be at all relay exchanges before and during the meet to use. This is to help preserve the brand new track! 

Field Events: 3 Attempts; NO Finals. 

Remind your athletes to stay off the practice field during field events and off of the football field during running events unless they are warming up. We do not want extra athletes or fans hanging around on the field for safety. We ill have coaches/officers helping encourage everyone not warming up to stay in the stands.

Please set up team areas towards the starting line of the home side stadium. We would love for the fans to be able to watch the finish of the race. 

Spikes: 6mm maximum length. Javelin will be contested on a grass runway. 

Boys pit will be the East Pit and the girls pit will be the West Pit.

Awards: Medals to top 3 in individual and relay events. Team trophy to winning and runner up boys and girls team.
