Meet Information
Dear Cross Country Coach,
Trafton Academy and St. Thomas Aquinas High School would like to invite you to their 24th Annual Governors Games Tri-Parish Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, September 30, 2025(4th-below) and Wednesday, October 1, 2025(MS & JH). This years meet will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond.
In all races the top (15) will receive awards. Individual awards will be given to the athletes at the end of the chute for the Pee Wee, Sub-Elementary, Elementary, Middle School and Junior High races. Team awards to the top two teams in each division except Pee Wee. No team awards for the Pee Wee Division. Team awards will be done as the meet progresses, JH girls and boys team awards will be done at the end of the meet. Teams from Tangipahoa, St. Tammany and Livingston Parishes are invited, along with Baton Rouge and Mississippi teams. T-shirts to top 15 finishers in elem, ms and JH races only. Governors Games medals to the top 15 finishers in each race.
There will be no limit on the amount of runners entered in each race, the top (5) will be scored. This year we will be using the Hy-tek computerized scoring system, so, each team must submit a list of all possible competitors by Monday, September 29, 2025 at 10 am. All school entries must be done on la.milesplit.com.
The STA CC team will be helping park the cars on campus, please be courteous to our athletes. There will be a $5.00 charge for cars to enter the STA facilities.

There is a $75.00 charge per school to participate in the meet. We look forward to having you with us, once again we feel this years meet will be very competitive. Entry fee can be brought the day of the meet.

There will not be any parking allowed on the grass on Voss Dr. at STA, parking is located in the front two lots, overflow will be at the first lot by the baseball field, and then cars will park in the back by the track and near the softball field. Bathrooms in the back by the Track are the designated ones for the CC meet and Port-a-johns located on the front field at STA.
