Meet Information
The LA Mile Festival will be held Saturday, April 12th at The Dave Anderson Track in Ruston, LA. Last season this meet produced some of the fastest 1600m times ran in Louisiana!
Year after year, this has been the fastest 1600m meet outside of the State Meet! Don't miss out.
The meet runs from 9am until approximately 11am. Race start times TBD based on field size. This is not a rolling start. Each heat will start at their assigned time to allow for proper warmup. Heats will be limited to 12-15 athletes to allow for room to race.
Unlimited entries per school but entries must be registered with the LHSAA and eligible to compete this track season.
The cost of attendance will be $50 per school or $10 per athlete (whichever is cheaper). Please make all checks payable to Parkway High School.
After the completion of all race sections, awards will be given to the top 10 finishers in both the boys and girls divisions.
Entries will be due by Wednesday, April 9th. Heat sheets and a final time schedule will be sent out on April 10th.
