Meet Information
Dear Cross Country Coach,
The 2024 Northshore Independent Athletic League Cross Country Championships will be on Thursday, October 110, 2024(4th-below) and Tuesday, October 15, 2024(MS & JH). This years meet will once again be held at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond.
Team awards will be sent to the schools this year, with one plaque for each school with the different Championships won on one plaque. The top (15) finishers in each race will receive medals. All individual awards will be given out at the end of the finish chute. Athletes are allowed to run in more than one race, as long as you move them up a division. No athlete is allowed to run in a lower division than his/her actual grade!
All of your entries must be done by Wednesday, October 09, 2024 at 10:00 am.

No entry fee is required for this meet this is a NIAL Championship event! All schools must have their 2024-25 NIAL League dues taken care of prior to this event.
However, there will be a $5.00 per adult entering the campus. Please make sure to inform your parents that this is a NIAL Championship event and not harass the HS students in charge of collecting the gate as they assist with parking our parents.
Please do not arrive on campus any earlier that 4:30 PM, they will be having football practice and we do not want to interrupt their practice by having all the parents and kids on their practice field!!!
Team boxes will be assigned for the Championships, each team will be allowed to put two runners in the front of the box, the remainder of your runners will be lined up behind your two front runners. This is a Championship event and the larger teams tend to take over the starting line and this puts them at an advantage, or we could just limit the teams to seven or eight runners as all Championships do. We would appreciate your courtesy in this matter!

We will be set-up in the front area at STA for this meet, we have been asked by our administration that you please use the restrooms in the back only. Please keep your Parents and Athletes out of the school, the school is off limits when we have Cross Country meets. Also, we will not allow cars to park on the grass on Voss Drive, this will be roped off, be prepared to park in the back and walk to the starting line areas.
