Meet Information
Dear Coaches,
We are looking forward to hosting the Division V Region 2 meet on November 7th at the Enos Derbonne Sports Complex in Lake Charles, LA (Lake st.) Please read through the meet information and relay the information to your team and parents.
Parking: School bus parking will be in the stone parking lot on the Northside of the park (inside the fence). Cars and school vans need to park in the West parking lot along the road (Lake st.) We ask you NOT to park directly in front of the main building. That will be reserved for park patrons. If you would like to park inside the fence, there will be a $5 convenience fee.
Admission: $10/person; under school age - FREE
Packet pickup - will be at table at the tent (Hackberry Tent). The packet will have a map of the course, chips, and numbers. Please count the chips and return them to the tent at the end of the race. There will be a charge of $35/chip for any NOT returned to the GREEN tent.
Entry fee is calculated on the number of schools and athletes. $20/athlete, $100/team, or $200/school - depending on the number of athletes. 5 to 7 athletes make a team. Call if you have any questions (337) 802-5664 Angie Little.

This will be a varsity race ONLY.
Sports medicine will be available under their tent - Trainer Chad Chassion
Team areas: West pavilion and playground area (behind the starting line)
Rest rooms will be available on the East side and middle of the park (NOT in the main building)
Please use the trash cans and keep your team area clean.
Official meet timer: mistiming.net and results can be accessed online.
CHIP TIMING - EACH RACE WILL BE UTILIZING CHIP TIMING. Tie the chips FLAT on the top of the athletes shoes. CHIPS need to be turned into the GREEN Hackberry tent. Count chips and make sure all are returned. $35 chip fee for any missing.
Awards: Will be announced at the completion of both races. They will be handed out at the GREEN tent. Team awards - top two (2) teams will receive awards. Top 25 individuals will receive a t-shirt and qualify for state. Top 8 teams will also qualify for state.
Concessions will be available through area vendors: Kona Ice, Toms Coffee, and a pizza truck.
