Historic River Road 5k Run 2004

Historic River Road 5K Run, downtown, Denham Springs. Where: Train Station Park located in Historic Downtown Denham Springs. When: Race-day registration will begin at 7:00 am at Train Station Park, near the Hibernia National Bank parking lot. Race begins at 8:00 am. Course: 3.1 miles down scenic River Road. Benefit: Portion of proceeds to help benefit the restoration of Old City Hall which is listed on the National Register for Historic Places. Shirts: Short sleeve t-shirt to all entrants. Pre-register to ensure your shirt on race day. Fees: Pre-registration (by April 16): $12 for Club South members or $15 for nonmembers. Race day registration: $18 per person. Registration without t-shirt: $8 per person. Awards: The overall, masters and grandmasters men and women winners will receive special awards. Age group awards will be given 3 deep for 5 year age groups, 14 and under to 75 and older. Entertainment: Live music will be provided courtesy of Main Street of Denham Springs. Afterwards, enjoy the 13th Annual Spring Festival from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm in Historic Downtown Denham Springs. Food and Refreshments: Enjoy free donuts courtesy of Mary Lee Donuts of Walker and Denham Springs.
