Dear Coaches,
The NIAL Track and Field Championships will be
held on Monday, March 25,
2024 (Sub-Elementary and Elementary Divisions Only) at St. Paul's High
School in Covington and Tuesday,
March 26, 2024 at the St. Paul's High School in Covington. The field events on Monday 3/29 will start at 4:00 PM, while the running
events will start at 5:30 PM. The field events on Tuesday will begin at 4:00 PM, while the running
events will begin at 5:30 PM.
The
all entries will be done on la.milesplit.com. You must register for the Championships by Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 9:00 AM!
All entries are final, there will be no changes or additions to your entries.
Athletes are allowed to participate in any four events in his/her division,
however, an athlete can move up to a higher division and compete in another four
events if you need to do so.
Awards will be given to the
top (2) teams in each division. Awards will also be given to the top (3)
finishers in each event. Individual awards will be given to the coaches at the
end of the meet. MVP awards will be given to the top Field MVP, Track MVP
and Overall MVP at the end of the meet on Friday. MVP's will be determined by
highest point athletes, ties will be broken by performances. Coaches you can
enter an unlimited amount in the running events, however, in the field events
only (4) per event in the each division of the boys and girls events.You may also enter an "A" and "B" relay team
if you wish.Only the "A" team relays will
be scored!
Also, all of
your athletes have competed in meets at some point this season, I would
appreciate that you are fair to them and send in their marks (times and
distances) so we can have the faster athletes compete against each other in the
sprints!
We will e-mail all of the results to the
coaches. Results will also be posted at coacho.com. Admission will be $7.00 for
adults and $5.00 for children. Concessions will be available at SPS. Each
school will be assigned to assist with a field event.
