5A Region III Track and Field Championships
at Hahnville High School
Wednesday, April 24th , 2024
Admission will be ($10 Adults) ($5 Children 12- under)
Entry fees will be $5 per male athlete up to a maximum of $75 per boys team and $5 per female athlete up to a maximum of $75 per girls team Maximum of $150.00 per school

Please have buses park on the visitor side of the stadium.
All Athletes and Coaches will receive a wristband when entering the visitor side of the stadium.
Team areas may be set up in the visitor side of the stadium.
The Pole Vault Verification Form and Pole check will take place at pole vault pit; all other implements will be checked in the visitors side concession stand under the stadium. All implements must be checked in and left during the verification process period. Only passing implements will be allowed for use at the events, all others will be returned at the completion of the competition. No implements shall be brought straight to the event.
Only athletes competing in the field events and coaches are allowed in designated areas of those field events marked with signs: All spectators and noncompeting athletes during field events are asked to stay behind designated areas that are marked with signs, field markings, cones, flags, or barricades.
All Throws and Jumps: 3 Prelims, top 7 advance for 3 additional attempts.
Upon the completion of the field events or once the running events are about to begin all spectators shall return to the home side of the stadium.
You shall supply your own starting blocks and your own relay batons.
We will adhere to all LHSAA and NFHS rules and regulations.
Results will be posted online by Crescent City Timing. Live results at
https://crescentcitytiming.com/ FAT will be provided by Crescent City Timing.
Concessions and bathrooms will be available on the home side of the stadium.
Medals will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place; Boy & Girl MVP Track and MVP Field will be given to the top athlete in each category at the end of the meet.
Team Trophies for the Top 2 finishers in each Boys and Girls Division will be given at end of the meet.
We are excited to be your host for this regional meet and hope that all the athletes get to display their best performances in the field and on the track. Safety Sports Procedures for the Regional Track Meet at Hahnville High School
St. Charles Parish Public Schools District security procedures to ensure a safe environment for all attending.
Safety & Security Procedures for Spectators
Event Bag Protocol - ALL BAGS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH
Non-clear bags no larger than 4x6.5 (clutch style w/ or w/out strap)
Diaper / Medical bags allowed only after search.
Clear bags no larger than 12x12x6 (no backpacks)
Stadium/Bleacher chairs with pockets will be searched.
Any style chairs in a travel bag, must be removed from their bag prior to entry.
Wagons must be emptied for search prior entry.
NO animals allowed with the exception of service animals.
NO outside food or drinks will be allowed.
NO re-entry will be allowed without the purchase of a second ticket.
NO entering the playing area before, during or after the contest will be allowed.
At the conclusion of the event, please return to your vehicles and exit in a timely
manner.
Event Attendance Guidelines
K-8 Students attending the event must be accompanied and supervised by
parent or adult guardian.
If a student attempts to enter without a parent or is removed from the event
for behavior they will not be allowed back to the event until approved by an
administrator.
High School students must present their school ID if using a student ticket for entry to the event.
A clear and legible picture of the full ID is acceptable.
Showing Powerschool on an electronic device is NOT acceptable for entry
as a student.

Scratch Meeting/Team Packets
1. There will be no scratch meeting for the regional meet. Schools that qualify contestants from the district meet to the regional meet shall declare by 12:00 noon two (2) days prior to the regional meet any scratches for those qualifying to the regional meet. It will be the responsibility of the school that scratches a contestant to notify the alternate school qualifier by 12:00 noon two (2) days prior to the regional meet. Schools failing to scratch contestants prior to 12:00 noon two (2) days prior to the regional meet shall be fined $50 per contestant unless a letter from a doctor or the principal stipulates that the contestant was unable to compete due to medical reasons or other unusual circumstances. Scratches to the regional meet shall be emailed to the host school on school letterhead signed by the head coach.
5. If a qualifying contestant from the district meet is scratched and the alternate is not notified by noon, two days prior to the meet, there shall be no replacement allowed.
