Meet Information
The 2024 District 2-1A Track Championships will be held at
Ouachita Christian School on WEDNESDAY, April 17th. Field Events beginning at 10:30 (With the exception of High Jump Beginning at 10:00) and
Running Events around 12:00 due to shortage of Electronic Timing.ALL Field Events will be held at Ouachita
Christian school.Please look at your school's assigned area of responsibility
and be sure to educate yourself with the rules of that event.Registration
will take place through LAmilesplit.com.Entry Fee will be $75.00 per boys' team and $75.00 per girls' team ($150
per school) and can be mailed to Ouachita Christian or brought on the day of
the meet.

Please have
the entries done by 4:00 Tuesday, April
16th.If you have Any questions regarding the entry
process, please let me know.
Further Instructions:
*Tents are only allowed on the TOP ROWS of the Stadium.Bleachers may be used on BOTH
sides of the field.No Camping on the turf as we do not want food
and drink on the turf.
*Spikes: 1/4 pyramid.
*PLEASE USE CHALK or Rubber Strips that we will provide instead
of tape for
RELAYS (Chalk will be
provided). We have a new
track and want to keep it looking great.
*Meet will be
conducted according to LHSAA rules.
*Pole Vaulters will need to
weigh-in and bring their pole vault verification form at 9:45.
*All Throwing implements
will be weighed and marked for use (weigh-in begins at
9:30)
*Please bring your own blocks.
*There will be at least 10 minutes
between the start of each girls' race.
*We will have places in the BACK
Parking lot designated for your buses.
*Restrooms are located adjacent to
the concession stand.
*We will try to livestream the
running events at www.ocs.org
*We will present the Boy and Girl Sharplin
Positive Attitude Award during the time between
the field
and running events.
*ALL Check-Ins will take place at the Benches located
near the 25-yard line.
Awards:
Medals to
top 3 in individual events. Top 3 winners will be recognized at Midfield.Field Events will take place at the
conclusion of the field events or during the 1600 meter run.Running event presentations will be made
after each race.
Team trophies
will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place overall.
At the
conclusion of the meet, High Point Awards will be given for the Track, the
Field, & Overall.
