Meet Information
Dear Coach:
Thank you for accepting the invitation to come and compete at the OCS Invitational Meet to be held on Friday, March 31st, at Ouachita Christian.
For your entries, you will enter your athletes on https://la.milesplit.com
Please send the entries back by 5:00Thursday, March 30th. If you have Any questions regarding the entry process,please let me know.
Entry Fee-$60.00 per boys' team and $60.00 per girls' team($120 per school) unless OCS ran in your meet. You may pay at packet pick-up. Field events will begin at2:45 and Running Events at approximately 4:15.
Packets may be picked up at the timer's tent.Packets will provide Heat/Lane assignments.
Two athletes are allowed to enter for each event and one relay team for each school.
Athletes are to report to the check-in area one event before their event.
Field Events will check in at the event site.
Further Instructions:
*Tents are only allowed on the TOP ROWS of the Stadium. Bleachers may be used on BOTH
sides of the field. No Camping on the turf as we do not want food and drink on the turf.
*Spikes: 1/4 pyramid.
*PLEASE USE CHALK instead of tape for RELAYS (Chalk will be provided). We have a
new track and wanted to keep it looking great.
*Javelin will be contested Behind the Tennis Courts
*Meet will be conducted according to LHSAA rules.
*Please bring your own blocks.
*PLEASE HAVE YOUR BUSES HERE BY 2:20 TO AVOID AFTER SCHOOL PICK-UP CAR LINES*
INSTRUCT PARENTS WHO ARE WATCHING A FIELD EVENT TO BE HERE BEFORE 2:30. ALL PARENTS NEED TO AVOID ARRIVING BETWEEN 2:30-3:15 or else they will be stranded in the car pick up line.
Awards:
*Medals to top 3 in individual events.
*trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place overall.
* High Point Awards will be presented for the track, the field, and overall so if you have an athlete who meets that criteria at the end of the day, please be sure they are present to receive their award.

Long Jump -- Girls (Pit by the Visitor's Bleachers)
Long Jump -- Boys (Pit in front of the Scoreboard)
TRIPLE Jump will begin on the NEW Runway behind the scoreboard for
those who are not involved in Long Jump. Those involved in
LJ will do the Triple once they are done with the LJ.
