Meet Information
We have met a 12 team MAX for our Middle School Down the Bayou Relays. We have 8 in parish schools attending and we have filled the other open positions. The only schools that will be allowed entries from here on out will be LCO, East Thibodaux Middle, and Raceland Middle. This is so the meet can be ran as efficiently as possible. I apologize for any inconveniences.
To be able to run the meet as efficiently as possible, THERE WILL BE NO UNATTCHED ATHLETES ACCEPTED FOR THE MEET. Please make the arrangements in Mile Split or we will have to drop any extra athletes for events. Thanks in advance.
**NOTICE ABOUT EVENTS**
To help with the process of scoring the meet, we have left some of the events labeled as they are at the high school level. Changing/adding some of the middle school events/names can have an effect on the scoring in the Hytek system. The 3200 Meter Run and the 110/100 Meter Hurdles were effected by this. GIRLS WILL STILL RUN THE 55 METER HURDLES AND BOYS WILL STILL RUN THE 65 METER HURDLES FOR THE MEET. BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS WILL RUN THE 2400 METER RUN. Whenever you register your athletes for these events, please do not be alarmed with how they are labeled. Please keep a look out for the following:
Boys/Girls 3200 Meter Run (This will be used for the boys/girls 2400 Meter Run)
Boys 110 Meter Hurdles (This will be used for the boys 65 Meter Hurdles)
Girls 100 Meter Hurdles (This will be used for the girls 55 Meter Hurdles)
These should be the only events that are effected by this through MileSplit and our Hytek system. Please put your entries in carefully. THERE WILL BE NO SCRATCH MEETING ON MEET DAY. All entries need to be in MileSplit by Tuesday, March 14th at 6:00 PM.
