Times:

Scratch Meeting 2:50 (In front of Multi-Purpose building by

concession stand.)

Field Events 3:15

Running Events 4:30

Buses:

Please park your busses in the gravel

lot off Kentucky St. behind Cougar Stadium.

Entry Fee:

$100 entry fee covers all teams (Girls, 7th Boys,

and 8th Boys). Checks written to Cedar Creek School and are due when

you arrive at the meet. If Cedar Creek is participating in your home meet there

is no fee.

 

Athlete Entries:

When you arrive please go in front of the multipurpose (by

the concession stand) and fill out your scratches and additions for each

team.Please have everything entered by

3:00. If the field event sheets have already been taken to their event, the

athlete may just go sign up there.

If a 6th or 7th grade boy competes in

one 8th grade event, all events he competes in must be 8th

grade events.

Only 2 athletes per school in each event.

Athletes may only compete in 4 total events.

Please see order of events sheet so you and your team know

what to expect.

 Awards:

Ribbons can be picked up in an envelope at end of the meet.

The top Girls, 7th Boys, and 8th boys

team will receive a plaque.

 Hospitality table will be provided for coaches in front of

multipurpose area.

Field Events (3:15):

    Javelin: 7th,8th Boys followed

by Girls

     Discus: Girls followed by 8th,7th

Boys

     Shot Put: 8th, 7th Boys followed

by Girls

       High Jump: Girls followed by Boys

       All Long Jumps followed by all Triple Jumps (girls and

boys on different runways)

     Pole Vault: All together

(they may all run at the same time)

Running 4:30 (Girls and 7th Boys will run 2400

together.If there are only a few 8th

grade boys we may add them to that race.Either way we will run all 2400 at the beginning. We will let you know the

plan after the scratch meeting.)

Throws:

We will mark everyone's first inbound throw after that we

will only mark those that meet the minimum distance.

Shot Put Minimum:

Girls: 15'

Boys: 20'

 

Discus Minimum:

Girls: 40'

Boys: 60'

 

Javelin Minimum:

Girls: 50'

Boys: 70'

 

High Jump Starting Hight:

Girls: 3' 8"

Boys: 4' 0"

 

Pole Vault:

Girls and Boys will all go together.We will start the pole at 5' 6" and they can

come in whenever they like.
