Warning: I’m just going to go ahead and let everyone know that most of what I will say in this diary won’t necessarily have anything to do with running, but it most definitely has everything to do with a runner! I will describe in detail several things that I came across while on my trip to run the Spillway. Before I dive into my trip, I need to introduce a few characters that come into play during my trip. First off is Jamin Hall. Jamin is my older brother. Jamin ran for West Monroe High School for four years under the guidance of Coach Dwain McDuffie (10:09 high school 3200 meter guy). Next off is Jessica Deutsch. Jessica also ran four years at WMHS and is planning to run for LSU next year as a sophomore (finished 6th place her senior year in the 5A cc meet).
