Meet Information:
The Pineville High School cross country program would like to take the time to invite you and your program to the 5th annual Pineville High School Rebel Cross Country Invitational. This year we are trying to make the meet a bigger and better for local and regional schools to engage in early season competition.
Course Information:
The course is located at the Ward 9 Athletic Complex on Donahue Ferry Road in Pineville Louisiana. The course features 2 medium sized inclines, but in otherwise flat. This is the same course that was used for the Region 1-5A Cross Country Championships in 2016 and received rave reviews from both the coaches of the regional teams as well as the regional committee.
Timing Information:
The timing will be done by bibs and results will be available immediately following the meet, as well as emailed to participating coaches.
Award:
The top twenty finishers in the boys and girls varsity races will be awarded t-shirts. The top ten girls and boys in the varsity race will be awarded t-shirts.
Registration:
Coaches should RSVP with Coach Dwayne Taylor at dwayne.taylor@rpsb.us if you are interested in attending the meet. If you are interested, coaches will be sent an additional link that they can use to submit their entries for the meet via email. Entries will be unlimited for the varsity races (ONLY THE TOP FIVE TO SEVEN FINISHERS FOR EACH TEAM WILL BE SCORED!!!). Entries must be submitted by August 24, 2017, so that my timer/meet manager has the opportunity to input all runners and make scratches if necessary.

Schedule of Events:
8:00- Elementary school/Rapides Junior Runners 1 mile
8:45- Varsity Girls 3 mile
9:25- Varsity Boys 3 mile
10:05- Junior Varsity Boys and Girls 2 mile
10:35- Middle School/Junior High Boys and Girls 2 mile
Cost will be $50 per school. $25 per team (boys/girls-minimum 5 runners). Individual runners will be $5 per person. Please make all checks/money orders payable to Pineville High School.
Coaches will be able to able to inspect the course and warmup thirty minutes prior to the start of the first race.
