Meet Information
This meet is for District 1-5A schools only.
Date: Thursday, October 31st, 2019
Where: Oakland Plantation Country Club

Plain Dealing, LA 71604
Course: The course consists of a single loop, with no repeated segments. There are rolling hills,
mostly well-manicured grass, with dirt on wooded trail segments. This course is very
Spectator-friendly.
Events: We will be hosting a varsity and junior varsity race for each gender. The Varsity Division will have
a maximum of 10 entries per team while the junior varsity division entries will be unlimited.
Cost: The cost of the meet will be $65 per school and will cover the District Awards and timing company
fees. Keep in mind that our District By-Laws state that your team is required to pay the District Meet fee by the date of the District Meet no matter how many runners participate. However, failure to do so will result in a District fine of $100 due before your team can participate in the Regional or State Meet.
Registration: Registration opens Thursday, October 17th. Schools must register through la.milesplit.com.

Varsity Girls: 4:00pm
Varsity Boys: 4:30pm
Rolling Schedule applies after the Varsity Boys Race:
Junior Varsity Girls: 5:00pm
Junior Varsity Boys: 5:30pm
Awards Presentation: 6:15pm
Awards: We will give out awards for the 1st and 2nd place team in the varsity races and will
recognize the top 10 finishers in each race as the All-District Team. Individual awards for the Junior Varsity Division will recognize top 10 finishers in each race. (No team awards)
***CHECKS NEED TO BE MADE OUT TO PARKWAY CROSS COUNTRY AND WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE MEET AT CHECK-IN. ALL TEAMS MUST PAY MEET FEE BEFORE RACING.***
