Meet Information
Dear Coach:
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your team to participate in the thirty- seventh annual Catholic High Cross-Country Invitational. This years meet will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Highland Road Park.
Last years meet attracted more than 1200 runners from some 100+ schools. Individual state champions and state championship teams participate in the meet each year.
A team champion and runner-up trophy will be presented in all four divisions. The top individual finishers will be awarded special Invitational shirts and medals.
In the Boys Senior High Division and Girls Senior High Division each school will be limited to seven (7) entries. Any extra athletes that you would like to run may participate in the JV/Jr.Hi open race.
In the Junior High Division, you may enter a maximum of twelve (12) runners. Extra runners may participate in the JV/Jr.Hi open race. Please Note: No A & B teams allowed (Only one team per school).
YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER YOUR ATHLETES THROUGH DIRECT ATHLETICS!! PLEASE READ ATTACHED INSTRUCTION SHEET VERY CAREFULLY!

The time schedule will be as follows:
7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Check In/Pick up Packet
8:30 a.m. - Girls Junior High 2 miles (5th through 9th graders)
9:00 a.m. - Boys Junior High 2 miles (5th through 9th graders)
9:30 a.m. - Girls High School 3 miles
10:00 a.m. - Boys High School 3 miles
10:30 a.m. - Non Scoring JV/Jr. High (3 mi./2mi.)
11:15 a.m. - Awards Presentation
Entry fee for meet will be $50.00 per school.
NOTE: PLEASE PROVIDE WATER AND ICE FOR YOUR TEAM

REGISTRATION THROUGH DIRECT ATHLETICS IS REQUIRED
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:
We will use the same scoring procedure that was used at last years meet as well as the state meet. We will pre-register all runners and will use scanners at the finish line to determine both individual places and team totals. The HY-TEK System will automatically score the meet. Therefore, you will be required to pre-register your entries.
You must register your top 7 Varsity runners and top 12 Jr. High runners through Direct Athletics (www.directathletics.com). Registration will open on September 7th at 8:00 a.m. and will close on Wednesday, October 7th at 7:00 p.m.. You may add/delete/change your entries up until the entry deadline. No changes allowed after registration closes. When you arrive at the meet, you will pick up your packet and give the assigned numbers to your 7 Varsity runners and your 12 Jr. High runners that you have entered in the meet. No changes or adds will be made at the meet. Any additional runners may run in the JV/Jr. High Open race.
You must enter your athletes through Direct Athletics (directathletics.com).
