Zach Capello travelled to Irvine, Ca. to race the prestigious Sweepstakes Race at the Woodbridge XC Classic, while Thomas Kelton and Randy Carter, Jr. stayed closer to home. All three performances affected rankings this week.. check out how they stack up on NOLA.com.

BATON ROUGE -- The LSU cross country teams dominated the 2014 LSU Invitational as the men scored 18 points and the women scored 22 points to defend their home course and earn first-place victories for the Tigers and Lady Tigers. (via LSUsports.net)

Baton Rouge, La. - The Loyola University New Orleans men’s and women’s cross country traveled to Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Saturday, September 20th to compete in the LSU Invitational. Running in separate 5K races, the men’s team took sixth place with an average time of 17:46.98 while the women’s team finished in fifth with an average time of 22:21.87.

The Redstickers won their first Class 5A rivalry bout against Mandeville. For now, SJA is on top not only in BR, but in the state.
