2005 Preview: In the 2005 XC invite the girls individual race will be tight, Barbe has their big three in Woodard, Sr Jessica Gurley and So Amy Guinn. Iowa\'s Jr Jennifer LaValley is the state 3A champ from a year ago and had the #2 two mile in SWLA last track season. In the boy\'s race the Iowa boys are back two their winning ways again! last week they swept the top three spots at the Bulldog Invite in Jasper, TX. They should be pushed by a senior lead squad from Barbe High School.

The 9th annual Jeff Davis Bank Iowa Cross Coutnry Inviational is rescheduled for WEdnesday October 26th.

In the 2005 Yellow jacket invitational, the old course records were both smashed by 17 seconds as Barbe jr Lydia Woodard 11:20 beats Iowa jr Jennifer LaValley 11:42 and Iowa sr. Brent Lambert runs 10:02 to Kinder\'s Corey Cronan 10:10
