If it looks like there is a weight that has been lifted off of the shoulders of Parkway's Brennan Robin, that's because it has after he made the announcement on social media earlier this week that he is committed to Oklahoma State University.
While a commit from of a high-profile football recruit might not mean as much as it used to, Robin seems adamant that he has found a new home in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
"I'm a Cowboy," Robin said as he visited with MileSplit Louisiana's Jerry Byrd about his decision. "I'm not going to entertain" any school that tries to recruit him, Robin said.
So, what was it about the Oklahoma State University distance program?
"It was amazing," Robin said about his visit last weekend to Oklahoma State. "I was completely blown away. I already had super high expectations because it was one of my favorite schools going into the recruitment process, but it was incredible seeing it all in person. Getting to know the guys and meeting the coaches it was pretty fun."
Robin will leave tomorrow for Texas tomorrow where he will open his senior cross country season on Saturday morning.
