WACO, Texas - In their final meet of the season, the injury bug left a dent in the Tulane women's cross country lineup, but the Green Wave had a handful of solid performances at the NCAA South Central Regional at the Cotton Wood Creek Golf Course.
Senior Rebecca Coady made her final cross country race in the Olive and Blue count with a near career-best showing of 21:41.00. The Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia native, Coady placed 42nd overall to post her best finish at the meet in his career. On the other end of the roster, freshman Callie Turlington was the second Tulane runner to cross the finish line, with a 99th place showing in 23:18.00.
Also, sophomore Emmi Aguillard placed 110th with a 23:41.30 showing and senior Peggy Keplinger closed out her career by completing the 6K course in a time of 24:28.10 to finish 119th.
On the season, every Tulane runner on the women's squad posted at least one personal best and the Green Wave grabbed their first team title since the 2007 season when they captured the Watson Ford Invitational.
