NATCHITOCHES, La. - Lauren Gilbert once again lead Louisiana Tech with an impressive performance as the Lady Techster cross country team finished third at the Northwestern State Invitational Monday afternoon. Gilbert's time of 24:30 in the 6k race placed her fourth overall while teammate Dana Ramstad finished 10th with a time of 25:47. Mary Kate Hayes ran 27:14 to place 14th for the Lady Techsters. Host Northwestern State won the meet with 29 points while Grambling finished second, scoring 36. Louisiana Tech scored 81 points in the meet, topping Centenary and Louisiana College. Louisiana Tech will head to the Asics MSU Cowboy Stampede at McNeese State Saturday in Lake Charles for an 8:45 a.m. start.
