Louisiana Tech 4x100m Relay Finishes Third in Impressive Fashion

DES MOINES, Iowa - Louisiana Tech had four events where they placed in the top five as competition concluded in track and field at the Drake Relays and Penn Relays on Saturday.

Antoinette Cobb, Quanisha Sales, Rakeisha Green and Chasidee Lewis-Baker teamed up to place third in the women's 4x100m relay with a season-best time of 44.83. The mark was also the fourth best in school history.

Cobb also joined Tiana Davis, Jesseka Jones and Kia Vance to place second in the women's 4x100m shuttle hurdles with a time of 54.71.

In the finals of the women's 100m hurdles, Jones placed eighth in a time of 13.98.

In the women's 4x400m relay, Monique Wright, Kamelia Story, Lashannda Worthy and Shante Benion ran a season-best time of 3:38.52 to finish sixth.

In the men's 110m hurdles, Billy Ray Walker finished fourth in a season-best time of 14.24.

At the Penn Relays, Justin Martin finished fourth in the men's javelin with a throw of 202'11". Larry Jones finished 14th in the event with a toss of 195'3".
