he Ragin' Cajuns track and field team competed well at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational on Saturday getting solid results from their field athletes.
Alexis Malone finished seventh in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.22. Jasmine Anderson finished sixth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.53. Jenna Picou finished 10th in the 3000 meter steeple chase with a time of 12:29.36. In field events for the women Kirsten Meche finished seventh in the javelin throw with a distance of 41.22 meters (135-03). Justin Jones finished eighth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.88. He also ran a 21.46 in the 200-meter dash for fourth place. Zach France came in second in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:31.67. Louis Stevens came in third in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.75. In the field Jeffrey Vidacovich came in third in the high jump with a height of 2.09 meters (6-10.25). O'Daylon Thibeaux came in second in the triple jump with a distance of 15.66 meters (51-04.50). Jacob Domingue came in fifth in the shot put with a distance of 16.34 (53-07.35). Garrett Harkless came in sixth in the discus throw with a distance of 50.78 meters (166-07).
