SPRINTERS IN CLASS 4A COMPETE AT THE 2024 LHSAA STATE OUTDOOR MEET!
Denham Springs' Rayvious Williams, St. Frederick's Macario Dade, Captain Shreve's Darrell Waldon, and Jonesboro-Hodges Christian McGuire were fast year, but they have gotten even faster in 2025. Of the quartet, McGuire and Waldon have seen the biggest improvement shaving .25 off their season best from a year ago.
McGuire's fastest time this year (10.73) was a first-place finish at the Llewellyn Starks Invitational. As the season heads into championship season, he will be looking for more consistency as his 10.73 was the only time this season that he has been under 11.00.
Waldon ran a personal record 10.68 with the wind at his back at the Airline Viking Relays. That race was his first win of the season. He returned a week later to win the Michael Jiles Relays with a time of 11.00.
