BARBE'S KENNEDI BURKS COMPETES AT LAST YEAR'S LSU HS CLASSIC
It's time for the MileSplit LA Girls Performer Of The Week poll. Congratulations to all of the finalists. The winner of the poll will move on to the poll for 2025 MileSplit LA Girls' Indoor Athlete Of The Year. The poll will close on Saturday at 9pm.
GISELLE SAPUTIL (BEAU CHENE)-- Won the 55m at the McNeese Indoor No. 1 with a time of 7.47.
LUCY CRAMER (PARKVIEW BAPTIST)-- Broke the 1600m record at the McNeese Indoor No.1 with a time to of 5:02. Only two seconds off of her 5:00 state championship performance at the LHSAA State Indoor Meet last year. Cramer also won the 800m with a time of
KENNEDI BURKS (BARBE)-- Opened her season with a record-breaking performance in the 400m at the McNeese Indoor No. 1. Her time of 55.77 ranks No.18 in the nation and No. 2 in Louisiana behind St. Louis Hannah Boullion. Both Burks and Boullion are scheduled to compete this week in the LSU HS Qualifier.
REESE JEAN (EVANS)-- Evans won the 3200m at the McNeese Indoor No.1 with a time to 11:47.
LAILA WILLIAMS (PINEVILLE)--Williams came out on top in a battle with another CENLA athlete at the McNeese Indoor No.1. Williams edged out Menard's Cami Harrison. Williams' time was 9.06.
SCARLETT PETTICREW (LAFAYETTE)--Bounced back after her opener at the LSU HS Classic to win the pole vault at the McNeese Indoor No. 1. Petticrew tied her indoor best from a year ago jumping 11-0. It was just .25 short of her personal record 11-0.25 from the Galleria Games in December.
