TYLER BLISSETT COMPETES AT LAST YEAR'S MCNEESE STATE STAMPEDE
Two sophomores broke 15:00 during last year's high school cross country season, but--at this time--only one will be competing when the Louisiana high school season gets under way in late August. Highland Baptist's Tyler Blissett has the No. 1 ranking with a time of 14:55.
Taylor Roller, who ran for Ruston High School last year and posted the No. 2 time (14:57) among all sophomore boys, is ranked No. 2 on the list, but plans to run independently in 2024.
Jesuit is well represented in the junior class. Led by juniors Brady Monahan (No. 3;15:01) and Joe Accardo (No.4;15:13), the Blue Jays have five runners ranked in the Top 75 among the Class of 2026.
At No. 5 on the Top 250 Junior Boys list is Brother Martin's Anders Maitrejean (No. 5; 5:13).
