Dynasty Wilfred Breaks AAU Club Championship Record!

DYNASTY WILFRED CROSSES THE LINE AFTER WINNING HER FIRST STATE 300m HURDLE TITLE

Several Louisiana athletes had outstanding performances at  at last week's AAU Club Championships, but only one came home with a meet record--Madison Prep's Dynasty Wilfred.

Wilfred, who is going into her junior year, won the 15-16 girls 400m hurdle record with a time of 59.91. That time broke the old meet record set by Makeriah Harris in 2022.

2024 has been a year to remember for Wilfred, who was representing the South Baton Rouge Jaguars in Florida last week. In May, she captured her first state championship, winning the LHSAA Class 3A State Championship in the 300m hurdles.
