Noah Watson Earns All-American Honors At AAU Club!

CES's NOAH WATSON COMPETES IN A CROSS COUNTRY RACE DURING THE 2023 SEASON.

Some distance runners decide to prepare for cross country during the summer months by focusing on workouts with their team or attending running camps.

Christ Episcopal School's Noah Watson is preparing for cross, but she is getting her work in by continuing to compete on the track. The plan seems to be working as Watson earned All-American honors this week in Jacksonville, FL at the AAU Club Championships

Watson, who is  running for the SE Louisiana Road Runners, finished third in the 3000m with at time of 11:18.72. She was only ten seconds off Kirsten Maarsingh's winning time of 11:08.12.

Watson also medaled in the 1500m where she finished seventh with a time of 5:10.04. Avah Savage won the event with a time of 4:52.99.

Watson, who won the LHSAA Class B State Championship in the 3200m (12:06.46) and finished as the runner-up in both the 1600m (5:24.55) and 800m (2:26.87), will begin her junior year at Christ Episcopal School next month.
