Congratulations to Vidalia's Madison Jackson and Catholic High's Jack Torrance. They are this week's MileSplit LA Performers Of The Week. Both athletes will move on to compete for MileSplit LA Outdoor Athlete of the Year at the end of the high school season.

St. Thomas More's Camryn Haik was the runner-up in the girls' poll (31.49%), and Haughton's John Brown (36.92%) was the runner-up in the boys' poll.
Jackson, who has a season best of 15.43, is undefeated in the 100m hurdles this season. In the 300m hurdles she is nearly perfect with her only loss coming in a runner-up performance at the Mangham Relays. She has a season best of 46.83 in the 300m hurdles.
Both of Jackson's season best times were also personal records and came at the same meet-the Port City Glass Panther Relays.
Torrance has won three out of the discus competitions he has been in this year. His best meet came at Denham Springs where he had a huge PR of 155-7.
That throw put him at No. 6 in Louisiana. He is No. 1 among sophomore boys in Louisiana.
