RANKINGS! Top 50 Female Javelin Throwers In Louisiana!

BENTON'S SADIE HAMBY COMPETES AT THE 2023 REGION 1-5A MEET IN NATCHITOCHES

Two of the top 10 girls in the state will be competing in the javelin today at the Bossier Parish Championships in Benton. Parkway's Chloe Larry, coming off a basketball season where she led the Lady Panthers to a successful defense of their state championship, is ranked No. 5 in the state after throwing the javelin 125-9 to win the Bearkat Invitational in her first meet of the season last week. 

Benton's Sadie Hamby in ranked No. 9 with a throw of 119-3 at the North DeSoto Relays earlier this month. 

Larry is the defending Bossier Parish champion with a throw of 125-6 at last year's meet. Hamby, who won three straight meets before finishing second last week to Sterlington's Ana Robinson at the "Hoss" Garrett Relays, was the runner-up in 2023 with a throw of 119-3. 

Robinson, a sophomore, is the No. 1 ranked javelin thrower in the state with a best this season of 137-8 at Neville's Van Leigh Relays.
