PARKWAY'S CHEYENNE OLSON COMPETES IN THE '23 BOSSIER PARISH CHAMPIONSHIPS

For three years, Parkway's Cheyenne Olson has competed in the 1600m at the Bossier Parish Championships. And three straight years she has finished as the runner-up to Benton's Isabelle Russell, who now competes for the University of Louisiana--Lafayette. 

This time next year, Olson will be competing at the next level as well. She has signed with Southern Arkansas University. But for now, she has some unfinished business to take care of and it starts with tomorrow's Bossier Parish Championships, which is just one of the featured meets in the state of Louisiana this week. 

Olson has been a parish champion. She won the 800m as a sophomore in 2022, but the 1600m is one she would like to add to her collection.
