SCOTLANDVILLE'S CORINTHIAN WALKER RUNS AT THE FRONT OF THE 800m PACK AT QUALIFIER

Here are the finalists for the Week No. 4 MileSplit LA Boys' Performer of the Week Poll!

Catholic's Cameron Brazell - Won the 400m at the McNeese Indoor No. 2 with a 50.12. That time puts Brazell at No. 4 in Louisiana.

Parkway's Devon Oliver - Opened his indoor season with an impressive throw of 53-2.50. That's a PR for Oliver who only surpassed the 53 foot barrier one other time in his career. Oliver is ranked No. 2 in Louisiana--trailing only Central Lafourche's Kaden Adams.

Scotlandville's Corinthian Walker - Walker became Louisiana's first half miler this season to break the 2:00 barrier. Walker finished second at the McNeese Indoor No. 2 with a time of 1:59.54.

New Iberia's Jorri Daniels - Finished fourth in the long jump with a leap of 21-10. Returned later in the day to compete in the triple jump. There, he finished seventh with a jump of 41-7.

Lake Charles College Prep's Cameron Hill - Finished second in the triple jump with a 43-3.50. The personal record effort puts him at No. 4 in Louisiana.

Quitman's Bryan Lay - Cleared 14-0 in the pole vault and finished fourth at the McNeese Indoor No. 2. It was the highest finish of any La. high school vaulter. It's the first time Lay has cleared 14-0.

West Minster's Owen Melancon - Melancon battled in a 3200m at the McNeese Indoor No. 2 with a talented field. Melancon's time of 9:53.69 was faster than the meet record, but Melancon finished fourth. It was a huge eight second PR for Melancon.

Sam Houston's Chris Calloura - Jumped 6-4 and finished second to Herman Batiste in the boys high jump at the McNeese Indoor No. 2. It's Calloura's third consecutive meet where he has had a podium finish.
