This video was from the sprint events where Scotlandville's Makeriah Harris edged out Menard junior A'Shyria Burns in the 55m. Harris finished with a 7.24 while Burns was right behind her at 7.27. In the boys' 55m, Johnny Banks III won with a 6.68. He beat out Oberlin's Braelon McCleon (6.72).
In the 55m hurdles, Harris won the girls' division with a 8.36. Ulises Feliz of LaPorte (TX) won the boys' division with a time of 8.03.
