INTERVIEW: Cramer Sisters Talk About XC, Transition, Indoor!

LUCY AND MOLLY CRAMER WERE ALL SMILES AFTER THEIR USATF 5K PERFORMANCE!

What a ride it has been for Parkview Baptist's Cramer sisters, who transferred over the summer. Earlier this week, they sat down with MileSplit LA's Jerry Byrd to talk about their cross country season which ended last Saturday at Birmingham's John Hunt Running Park as they competed in the RunningLane Cross Country Championships

Despite the terrible course conditions, the sisters competed and represented the state of Louisiana well. Freshmen Lucy Cramer had the fastest time of any Louisiana girl with a No. 46 finish (18:43). Of all of the runners in front of Cramer, only four were her age or younger.

Speaking of young, Lucy's younger sister Molly Cramer also had a great race. The eighth grader finished at No. 104 with a time of 19:18.

Lucy Cramer had a season best of 18:18 on the same course earlier this year when she finished tenth at the Southern Showcase. Molly's best race came at NXR, where she posted a time of 18:53.

Here what the sisters had to say about these races, as well as their transition to Parkview Baptist, in the interview below.
