POLL: Vote on MileSplit LA Boys' Athlete of the Month!


First they won MileSplit LA Boys' Performer of the Week. Now, their fans will decide if they will be the MileSplit LA Boys' Athlete of the Month. The winner of the poll will move on to compete for MileSplit LA's Athlete of the Year. This poll will close on Saturday at 9pm. 

DEDRICK LATULAS  (WESTGATE) - Latulas won the Week No. 1 poll in February after an impressive 43-8 win in the triple jump at the McNeese Indoor No. 2. He continued that momentum with a runner-up finish in the LHSAA D-I  triple jump with a 44-11, which is an indoor personal record. Latulas was also on the Tigers' 4x200, which finished fourth.

GABRIEL DUPUIS (LAFAYETTE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY)- Joined the elite 15' ft club in the pole vault with his 15-0.75 win at the Last Chance Qualifier. That earned him a spot on the Week No. 2 ballot. His fans did let him down, carrying him over the bar to victory. The momentum continued last week when Dupuis earned his first state title at the LHSAA D-II State Indoor Meet clearing 14-7.5

CAMREN HARDY (EDNA KARR) - Won by the LSU Last Chance Qualifier by the slimmest of margins in the 400m. His win in the Week No. 3 poll was not as close. The junior finished fourth in the LHSAA D-I State Indoor Meet with a 50.59

 NICK DAVIS (MANSFIELD)- Dove for the line in the LHSAA D-II 400m for the win. That win propelled his team to a state championsip. Davis and his supporters were able to get the win in last week's poll to get him on this ballot (49.32).
