The Mississippi High School Track and Field preseason rankings in the Men's Jumps are generating quite a bit of excitement this year, with a number of standout athletes poised to make their mark in the upcoming outdoor season. Among the most highly anticipated competitors is Maxiumus Littleton of Clinton, who had a phenomenal indoor season and is expected to be a major force in all of the jumps with lifetime bests of 6-8 in the HJ, 22-4.5 in the LJ, and 45-9.5 in the TJ.
Littleton's teammate, Tyler Nichols, is also expected to make waves this season. Nichols currently leads the state in the High Jump with a mark of 6-10 and could potentially be the first athlete in Mississippi to break the seven-foot barrier in the Spring. These two athletes will be a formidable pair in the jumps, and are sure to push each other to new heights.
