Who is the MileSplit LA Girls' Performer of the Week? (Jan. 22-Jan.28)

Above are the seven finalists for MileSplit LA Girls' Performer of the Week. The poll will close on Saturday.

LAUREN ROBERTS (ALEXANDRIA) - Jumped a season-best 11-7.5 at the LSU High School Qualifier. Roberts holds the state's top mark along with Teurlings Catholic's Addison Richey and Mt. Carmel's Natalie Doiron, who finished second to Roberts on Saturday. 

EMMA BOURG (HOUMA CHRISTIAN)- Bourg was named the Gatordade Louisiana Girls' Cross Country Player of the Year on Monday. She won the 3200m at the LSU High School Qualifier with a time of 11:11. It's the best time in Louisiana by just over 20 seconds. 

LONDON PARKER (JOHN CURTIS)- Parker ran her first 400m of the 2023 season posting a 58.65 at the LSU High School Qualifier. The junior finished second in the event behind St. Louis' Hannah Boullion (57. 81). She is currently ranked No. 5 in the state event. In the Classic, Parker opened her junior year with a time of 2:25, in the 800m,  which is No. 6 in Louisiana. 

MARLEY RICHARD (DESTREHAN)- Richard opened the 2023 season in impressive fashion with a win in the girls triple jump (37-7.25). It's the best triple jump in Louisiana this year, and ranks No. 8 in the nation among all high school sophomores. Richard also won her heat in the girls 60m (8.04) and had a 17-4.75 effort in the long jump. 

ALANA SIMON (EPISCOPAL)- Simon finally left the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse with an MVP award after she  opened up her season with a 5-5 in the girls' high jump. The LHSAA Division II defending state indoor  champion currently ranks No. 1 in the state of Louisiana. 

KIRISTEN MCGIRT (EAST ASCENSION)- McGirt opened her 2023 season with a winning throw of 40-0.25 at the LSU High School Qualifier. It puts her at No. 2 in the state rankings, just a half inch behind Zachary's Jaydan Jackson (40-0.75).

KALI MAGANA (LOUISE MCGEHEE)-  ,Magana ran a 55.92 on the banked track at the Elite Scholastic Meet in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The time ranks No. 1 all-time indoors in the MileSplit LA database. It also ranks No. 6 in the nation this year among all juniors.
