Led by Vandebilt Catholic's Emery Prentice, who went through her second straight outdoor season undefeated on LA soil in the pole vault. She also helped to lead Vandebilt Catholic to a 2022 LHSAA State Outdoor Championship. Her best vault of 13-7 was seven inches better than St. Joseph's Ava Riche.
At No. 3 on the list is Teurlings Catholic's sophomore Addison Richey, who is the only vaulter in the Top 5 who will return in 2023.
Another LSU signee--Menard's Aly Jo Warren-- is at No. 4 with a best vault of 12-4. Warren was the MVP of the LHSAA Girls Class 2A State Outdoor Meet.
Rounding out the top five is North Webster's Peyten Ware. Ware vaulted 12-0 at the District 1-3A Meet and went on to win the LHSAA Class 3A State Outdoor Meet. It was her second state championship, as she won the LHSAA Division II Indoor Meet in February. Ware is headed to Northwestern State University in the Fall.
