It was a thrilling finish in the Division 1 boys 800 meter run at the LHSAA State Indoor Championships with C.E. Byrd's Ladan Thomas taking the field out in a swift 56 seconds first 400 meters before holding off challenge by Taejon Morris of Airline in a state best victory of 1:57.93.
